To All You People Defending Stella...

I am NOT your average jack-boot moron you can pull that "explanation" BS on.

It's not funny because the people making it are, get this, NOT FUNNY. That it's a deep political satire about the emptiness of modern existence? Find another dog to swallow that pill. Because I know EXACTLY how much of a flipping crock that is They're trying to re-create the Marx Brothers (shoudln't that shit be illegal anyway? It's like remaking Psycho?)..

It's just NOT FUNNY.

And frankly, it makes me want to never wear a suit. And I used to LIKE suits.

I will never watch Stella because I hate Michael Ian Black. Even if he were funny, I refuse to support the career of anyone who rose to fame by doing VH1 Top 50 shows and nothing fucking else.

And I'm pissed that he gets to wear nicer suits than I'll ever be able to afford. Fucker.

His VH1 appearances negate anything he's done beforehand.

Except for Ed. But that's when he was sucking hardcore anyway.

Did you like the state? I watch their shows out of nostalgia for the goodness that they once were... oh and wet hot american summer was actually pretty funny.. alas I can't even try to tell you that stella is any good-- at some point I'd like to see some of the stand-up shows they used to do as stella before the tv show

Wet Hot was genius.

But, if you notice, all the GREAT stuff was because of other people. Like Ms Garaffalo, Christopher Meloni, and the chick who was also on Upright Citizen's Brigade.

I won't argue that two thirds of Stella wrote and directed Wet Hot and that probably has a little bit to do witht the great stuff in the movie, since I haven't seen Stella at all and it's not like Wet Hot should carry them the rest of their lives, but what I will say is that you are wrong.

All of the great stuff in that movie came from Paul Rudd. Fuck Amy Polilelrielrelre.

I'm glad I'm not the only one

I've watched two shows ... and they are not funny. I've seen one stand up of theirs. It was eh funny not wipe my eyes funny.

I could only keep Stella tuned on my particular glowing educator Television for about 2 1/2 minutes. I kept watching, hoping for... better.

It took about 2 1/2 minutes yes, but I determined that "better" really wasn't possible.
